Work Out Wars
Support
Last updated: 23 August 2026
Work Out Wars is built and run by Revvion (Trevor, an individual developer) — no support
team, just a direct line to the person who built it. Email below for anything not answered
here, and expect a real reply, not a bot.
Subscriptions & billing
Restoring a Pro purchase on a new device or after a reinstall
Open the app, go to Settings, and tap "Restore Purchases." This checks your Apple ID or
Google account for an active subscription and re-enables Pro — no need to buy again.
Cancelling or managing your subscription
Work Out Wars Pro renews and bills through the Apple App Store or Google Play, not through
us — we never see your payment details. Manage or cancel it the same way you would any other
subscription: on iOS, Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions; on Android, Play Store → profile
icon → Payments & subscriptions.
Requesting a refund
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google directly, since they process the payment — we don't
have access to issue one ourselves. Apple: reportaproblem.apple.com. Google Play: Play Store
→ Order history → find the charge → Request a refund.
Coach (AI feature)
Coach isn't responding, or shows an API key error
Coach uses your own Anthropic API key, entered in Settings. Double-check the key is pasted in
full with no extra spaces, and that the Anthropic account behind it has available credit. Keys
are created at
console.anthropic.com.
Why do I need my own API key?
Right now Coach calls Anthropic directly from your device with your key, so there's no usage
limit or metering on our end — a deliberate simple-and-transparent tradeoff for how early this
app still is. If that changes, this page will be updated first.
Challenge Friends
A friend code isn't working
Friend codes are case-insensitive but must be entered exactly — no spaces. If it still doesn't
find your friend, they may not have opened the app since installing (a profile is only created
the first time the app runs), or they're on a build from before Challenge Friends was added.
Points look out of sync with a friend's view
Point totals sync automatically when either device has a connection. If it looks stale, pull
to refresh or reopen the Leaderboard tab.
Data & account
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app deletes everything stored on your device (workouts, sets, streaks, Ladder
Game history, nutrition log). If you've used Challenge Friends, your device ID, display name,
and friend code also live in our database — email us and we'll delete that record too. Full
details in the
Privacy Policy.
I lost my streak or workout history
Progress is stored locally on your device, not in the cloud (except the point total used for
Challenge Friends). Reinstalling the app, switching devices, or clearing app data/storage will
reset it. There's currently no account-based backup — if this is a dealbreaker for you, tell us,
it's useful feedback for what to build next.
Something else
Bug reports, feature requests, or anything not covered above — email
privacy@revvion.uk with as much detail as you can (what
you were doing, what you expected, what happened instead, and your device/OS if it's a bug).
